Job Description - ServiceNow Architect

Job purpose
The ServiceNow Architect is a key role for automation and process improvement.
This role is responsible to liaise with internal and external parties to develop ServiceNow technology, provide technical advice to management and integrate with other systems like Infra/process management.

Experience:
Minimum 6 plus years of experience in ServiceNow development & implementation
Should be willing to work in flexible work hours as per the business need/ client meetings
The candidate should have good communication and presentation skills.

Mandatory Skills:

Should have good experience with Integrations with third party tools and REST APIs
Good exposer on scripted REST APIs and should have been implemented in the previous experience
Experience in Integrations using Integration Hub
Proficient in solutioning, developing, integrating, and maintaining applications using ServiceNow Platform technology and tools.
Configure and develop ServiceNow platform and integrate with other systems like Infrastructure workflow and process management.
Write test scripts, performing unit tests and performing peer review.
Perform advanced administration activities such as managing Integrations and system level configurations
Work with extended teams to manage systems and infrastructure required for ongoing development and releases
Get creative Pick-up new technologies and platforms as they are introduced and identify how they can solve current business and technology gaps
Strong problem-solving ability
Basic understanding of application architecture to identify quality issues related to design or distribution of application components
Must be self-driven, fast learner and delivery focused.
Develop/maintain system implementation documents, knowledge base, service reports and operational procedures.
Assist with identification of implementation risks and with development of mitigation or risk-avoidance plans.
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures. Evaluates tools and processes.
Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques; participating in educational opportunities; participating in professional organizations.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Capable of designing new test scenarios & scripting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
CIS Certification

Optional Skills:
Any additional module experience along with ITSM modules
Advanced level of programming with Java Script & Angular JS.
