We have a career opening for a highly technical individual with demonstrated expertise implementing Network Management Solutions supporting complex global networks to assist in the design, testing and implementation of a HP NNMi Network Management System (NMS). This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team of professionals supporting our client’s mission-critical network managed in Greenbelt, MD.  
The assignment is a US Government Contract which requires all applicants to be a US Citizen.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to):
  • Supporting the mission of networks that cannot be found anywhere else in the world
  • Building, Testing, Integrating and deploying HP NNMi Network management solutions
  • End to End transitioning old system to a new
  • Must be US Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance or higher
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with building, testing, integrating, and deploying HP NNMi Network Management solutions.
  • Working knowledge of common internet protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, ARP, NDP, TCP, UDP and higher-level protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, etc.
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with MIBs for Juniper and Cisco
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts & data center technologies with focus on monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on technical knowledge including:  network monitoring systems (e.g. Nagios, Icinga, Monolith), NoSQL databases (e.g. Redis, Cassandra), Round-robin databases (RRD), Configuration management systems (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef), Network automation (via CLI/Expect, Netconf, eAPI, etc), and VMWare ESXi hypervisors
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to document processes, applications, and procedures including support tools
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical people including the ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms
  • Security Clearance is required at time of hire
    Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
