At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a Lead Business Architect to support a Chicago-based client engagement. This project is to document the current state environment in support of an enterprise transformation effort.

  • Gather current inventory documentation
  • Interview key Health Forum IT personnel for additional inventory components and usage
  • Gather infrastructure and other costs
  • Create inventory of Applications
  • Create Application/infrastructure topology
  • Analyze business objectives
  • Analyze the business objectives vs. current IT applications and infrastructure
  • Compare current environment to industry standards
  • Document gaps/overlaps
  • Construct initial sections of the Architecture Assessment
  • Identify potential solutions to address current technology gaps/overlaps
  • Review sections with appropriate stakeholders
  • Identify potential quick hit initiatives to address immediate gaps/overlaps
  • Present completed Assessment
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience gathering business requirements
  • Proven experience documenting business process follows
  • Proven experience developing process roadmaps
  • Experience developing swim lanes to document business process flows by user group
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst
  • Proven experience working with the trade association industry
  • Proven experience interviewing key stakeholders to identify systems flow and business process flows
  • Experience documenting current state application environments
  • Experience architecting open architecture-based solutions
  • Ability to logically break down systems components into core business areas
  • Proven experience developing current state Application Architecture diagrams
  • Proven experience to gather business and technical requirements from key stakeholders
  • Ability to translate highly complex and ambiguous problems into actionable components and recommendations to drive solutions; ability to influence others without direct authority
  • Ability to identify opportunities to streamline existing architecture
  • Proven experience implementing systems integration frameworks
