Job Description: Trademark Administrator - Paralegal
? Manage United States and global trademark prosecution and maintenance matters
? Conduct and analyze preliminary trademark searches and communicate search results to business clients
? Review and analyze product designs
? Manage brand protection efforts and support enforcement matters, including cease and desist efforts and other anti-counterfeiting efforts
? Support legal aspects of Company's domain name portfolio
? Manage relationship with and work closely with senior management, as well as foreign counsel and USPTO on trademark related matters to achieve business objectives through a client-focused, responsive approach.
TOP MUST HAVE SKILLS:
? College degree or comparable paralegal experience is required; paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited paralegal program is preferred
? A minimum of 7 years of domestic and international trademark experience in a comparable law department environment or law firm with demonstrated substantive knowledge of trademark laws and procedures, including USPTO and international filing requirements
? Strong communication skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to use collaborative solutions in handling issues or tasks
? Proficiency in legal software applications, USPTO online filing system, Corsearch or other comparable search applications
? Unquestioned ethics and integrity.
? Effective time management and project management skills
? Critical thinking skills and an ability to independently develop solutions for business issues and recognize business consequences of recommended solutions
? Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively as a member of a team, including interfacing effectively with other members of the legal department, other departments, senior management, vendors, and external partners.
