"Client completed its acquisition of XO Communications in early 2017. As part of this transition, Client has inherited a suite of Ethernet and IP products that demand active management. This position is responsible for all functions (Price, Product Development, Promotion, Placement) related to the XO family of services. This includes every facet of marketing strategy implementation, from conducting market research to developing pricing strategies and supporting the communication messages. The work is highly complex and not routine. Employee should be comfortable with quickly changing priorities, a fast-paced environment, and ambiguity. Responsibilities: ? Employee will be responsible for price strategy. This includes standard rates, VP floors, and ICBs. The employee will manage and update all XO cost and price models. Employee will leverage market research, voice of customer, and other means to establish market rates. Employee will use this data/information to update the rates as appropriate. Employee will work with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to gain necessary approvals for standard rates and ICBs. Employee will work to ensure that all rates and ICBs are correctly executed and implemented. ? Employee will lead integration efforts to ensure that the legacy XO Ethernet/Wave and IP products are fully migrated into Client systems and processes. This requires understanding the XO products as well as their Client equivalents. Position will require learning and understanding XO contracts so that Client cares for all unique terms and conditions (e.g. SLAs, prices, etc.) ? Employee will assist in business cases and ICBs for all Network for Business services, including Wave, Ethernet, and IP. This will include extensive modeling, analytics, and network design. Qualifications: ? Employee should be familiar with Client products and networks. Specifically desired, employee should be familiar with Client Business " "Product " " products, systems, and pricing models. ? Additionally, employee should be familiar with Client Wholesale ( " "VPS " "), having worked in a Wholesale organization within Client or XO for at least 3 years. ? Employee should be comfortable with financial analysis, including cost models and pricing. ? Employee should have at least 3 years working with Costing, Pricing, and/or FP&A. ? Employee should have familiarity with XO products, models, and systems (desired). ? Employee should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. ? Wireline marketing/product experience preferred. ? Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience. ? Pricing and promotion experience. Knowledge and Skills: Advanced skills within a professional discipline and general knowledge of other areas. Requires independent thinking.
