Description
At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a Tier 1 Network Monitoring and Tool Support to join their team on a full time basis.  This technician will become an expert in their ConnectWise Automate tool and will use it to support a number of their MSP clients.
 
Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of remote monitoring environment (this position is working on-site near Schaumburg)
  • Translate operation challenges through efficiencies in the platform
  • See an event ID that indicates CPU gone bad on server, flag an alert and create a ticket - did not get
  • Identify issues that are occurring within a client's environment
  • Write a script to automate the identification of the Issue and alert necessary individuals
  • Over time, write a script to remediate issue
  • Get to a point where the system is identifying basic blocking and tackling issues
  • Learn and become an expert in the platform
  • Identify issues on ConnectWise Automate platform that are not known
     
Qualifications
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Proven ability to do scripting
  • Ability to read Event logs
  • Dives into technology and soaks it up
  • Natural problem solver
  • Inquisitive
  • Automation skills
  • Background in ConnectWise Automate (formerly Labtech) a plus
  • Level 1 and level 2 tech
