At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Project Governance to support the assessment, analysis and implementation of an enterprise PMO.   This role provides  leadership on project lifecycle methodologies, champions best practices in project estimation, staffing, management, and ensures critical IT functions are incorporated appropriately into projects (e.g., security, architecture, etc.). The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and governance as well as a passion for improving processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform an assessment of how a PMO is curently functioning from a people, process and tchnology standpoint
  • Identifies gpas within current environment
  • Identifies improvment areas
  • Develops a plan to implement improvements
  • Implements improvement initiatives
  • Drive PMO maturity and transformation strategy

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
  • IT Project Management; Project Governance
  • IT methods and tools; project management metrics and KPIs
  • Process engineering
  • Change management best practices
  • Process Management; Project Management; Training Delivery; Business Consulting; Change Management; Management and leadership
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • 5-7 years in technical project management, PMO / Governance
  • 2-5 years in training delivery, change management, or equivalent
  • 1 year managerial experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Preferred
  • Advanced degree in business, engineering, or information systems
  • Budget and financial management experience
  • MS Project Server, SharePoint, Office
  • Negotiation; Stakeholder Management
  • Comfort in dealing with uncertainty and information gaps
