At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a  Director, e-Commerce to support the President in further accelerating the growth of business, through overseeing all aspects of our client's ecommerce marketing activities. This senior role interacts with all levels of customer service, finance, procurement, and operations to orchestrate an effective online experience and synergies across client's sites. He/she must envision sales and marketing strategies to optimize available resources and meet financial objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team (internal & external) which includes design, creative, advertising, content, social, UX, mobile and email functions.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve ROI, UX and expand market penetration
  • Evaluate and implement upgrades or changes to ecommerce platforms and vendors
  • Develop and own sales plans (markdowns, commercial and merchandising initiatives) for each ecommerce sales channel defining marketing and commercial strategies to ensure that margin, sell through and sales targets are met
  • Provide site analytics to identify how merchandise category and assortment decisions are
    impacting conversion, basket size and sales
  • Find unique opportunities for sales through data analysis and communicate commonalities and trends
  • Manage a web marketing strategy and budget to drive sales both through acquisition and retention keeping control ROI and efficiency
  • Collaborate, participate and drive decisions about product mix, markdowns, commercial and
    marketing initiatives
  • Ensure consistent and early flow of goods/merchandise that are timely and accurate to maximize sales and meet objectives
  • Passion for delighting customers through an impeccable online shopping experience
  • Proven leader with confidence in suggesting calculated risks and ability to create business opportunities and execute
  • Proven ability to grow market share

  • Experience in marketing healthcare products/services to consumers, a plus.
  • A total of 8+ years overall experience, of which:
    -5+ years of direct to consumer experience within a multi-brand online retail environment (eCommerce experience is mandatory)
    -2+ years of managing a team of talented individuals in a digital marketing environment
  • Proven ability to devise and execute a merchandising/buying strategy, experience negotiating with external vendors and proven track record in building a business
