You will be accountable for ensuring strong client relationships and successful execution of major projects, including the responsibility of meeting project safety, quality, cost and schedule targets, in accordance with written and approved policy, standards, programs, and procedures that meet the requirements of the
RCM Quality Assurance Program.
The role of Senior Project Engineer / Manager is responsible to establish an industry presence for
RCM Technologies Energy Services Division in the Mid-Atlantic US region through growth and development of client portfolios and execution of projects
•Responsible to develop and foster exceptional relationships with existing and prospective clients
•Perform Business Development activities such as arranging client meetings, following up on sales leads, assisting proposal preparation, driving the sales cycle through contract award, following up with client on payments and feedback
•Develop and grow RCM Technologies Energy Services business unit in Mid-Atlantic US region
•Perform role of Project Engineer and / or Project Manager on assigned projects
•Assist Director of Projects and General Managers in all aspects of business planning.
•Accountable for execution of the business plan in their area including budget management, resource management, risk management, developing a pipeline of work.
•Reviews project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives. Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
•Studies project technical design requirements, customer requirements, performance standards, then determines and communicates project specifications to team. Supports creation of cost estimates and performance standards.
•Through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversees and coordinates the technical aspects of the project.
•Presents procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures. Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with state and federal regulations.

•Good written and verbal communication skills and proved ability to interact well at all levels of the internal and client organization.
•Demonstrated acumen in business development
•Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects and project teams
•Experience in Utility, Generation and / or Transmission and Distribution projects an asset
•Licensed Professional Engineer
SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
•Demonstrated ability to act in senior management positions with little guidance.
•Proven ability to manage a business unit and develop business in a geographical area or with a specific client group or groups.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
•Demonstrated ability to persist in driving issues and actions to closure.
•Skilled in Project Management principals and processes
•10 years of related work experience is required to meet these requirements
•University degree, college diploma or equivalent.
•Must have taken Project Management training or have equivalent experience (i.e. PMI PMP).
•Professional Engineer designation
