Job Description:
  • The Carrier Collierville plant has an immediate opening for a programmer analyst contractor.
  • Individual will be responsible for all aspects in the development and support of systems in a high volume manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include project management, programming and technical support.
  • One must be willing to work on the shop floor, provide support off hours and be a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal guidance.
  • This a very exciting position as one gets introduced to new technologies such as RFID, PLC's to integrate to machinery and WEB development.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide leadership and technical oversight in support of various systems
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide daily end-user support with the sense of urgency a high volume manufacturing facility requires
  • Drive execution of IT projects in support of plant and business goals
  • Work effectively in an environment which includes MS SQL, Visual Studio and IIS
  • Ability to research, learn and support advanced technologies such as RFID
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure project deliverables are completed in a quality and timely manner
  • Develop clear and concise functional specifications
  • Ensure quality standards from project definition through customer sign-off
  • Perform complete and thorough testing to satisfy quality requirements
  • Ability to engage, build relationships and influence peers, business partners and management across an organization
  • Support nightly batch processing
  • Disaster recovery planning
  • Off hour support
Required Personal Experience:
  • 10 years programming experience in a Microsoft focused environment
  • Innovation leader to research and implement new technologies
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can deliver results with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in manufacturing shop floor automation
  • Rockwell Automation Transaction Manager (RS SQL)

  • Mobile application development
 Education Level Required:
Engineering Graduate Or Relevant Experience.
