At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a  Business Analyst to join their team on a conract to hire basis.
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements under general supervision
  • Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems
  • Guides and advises less-experienced Business  Analysts
  • Analyzes business processes, identifies process deficiencies, researches solutions and plans and coordinates the remediation of these deficiencies
  • Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient
  • As appropriate, writes and validates business requirements and conducts system tests
  • Handle complex business and technical environments (across multiple platforms, dealing with multiple vendors, data flowing in from multiple parties and out to multiple parties, etc.)
  • Manage projects where business SME involvement is minimal
  • Able to synthesize/codify requirements from a disparate group of uses who are often focused on their own 'siloed' processes
  • Demonstrate the confidence to ask questions, dig out details
  • Must still be able to flush out requirements/identify missing links.
  • Work to get up to speed quickly - environment is complex and it will take time/effort to absorb enough details to add value
  • Candidate needs to be passionate about learning and up for this challenge

  • Strong BA skill set:  Analytical/Communication/Documentation
  • Proven experience working in an environment with Business complexity
  • Able to lead a white board sessions where you can explain a complex business flow/process
  • Solid documentation experience required - can be BRD, Process flows, User Stories, Visio, PPT, etc
  • 7 – 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Flexibility in use of SDLC frameworks – agile/waterfall/mix
  • Claims Management experience – a plus
  • Managed Care, Finance, New Product Support and even mobile experience
  • Insurance/Workers' Comp/Health Care exposure – a plus
