We seek a Site Reliability Engineer for our client, a large hospitality company, in the Ft Lauderdale, FL.  This is three-month contract to start but can be extended.  You must be able to work directly on our W2 without sponsorship or transfer of visa as this position may convert to FTE in the future.

The Site Reliability Engineer will triage and provide fast analysis of incidents/problems/find ad-hoc solutions/workarounds.  

  • Research and troubleshoot application issues
  • Conduct data analysis to identify scenarios and resolve defects
  • Proactively monitor and review application/infrastructure performance
  • Understand business processes and data flows for multiple systems
  • Interact with multiple IT and business teams to triage issues
  • Handle on-call and emergency support
  • Investigate and provide analysis of support tickets
  • Communicate incidents and solutions accurately, clearly, and effectively
  • Contribute to overall product roadmap
  • Verify operational readiness
  • Subject matter expertise in computer science, engineering or related discipline
  • Strong technical foundation, structured programming, analysis, and design methods
  • Able to formulate, communicate and implement technical solutions
  • Understanding of relational database concepts, strong SQL knowledge
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers
  • Demonstrate a degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices and processes
  • Work on feature request, defects and other development tasks
  • Participate in a 24/7 /365 on-call rotation
  • Experience in any of the following areas a plus:
  • Siebel applications (call center and Universal Customer Master) and Siebel Data Model
  • Prior project work with CRM solutions and management of customer data
  • Radiant Logic and Saviynt
  • Remedy Service Management / Pagerduty / Jira
  • Bachelor's degree in fields like math, statistics, computer science, or something closely related
  • MS SQL (Microsoft SQL server), JDBC, DB2, ORACLE Knowledge
