Sr. Network Analyst
Responsibilities (include but not exclusive to the following):     
  • Team member responsible for the installing, configuring, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and application components.  Ensuring overall technical capabilities, stability and performance.  Provide direction, recommendations, design and implementation for network enhancements.
  • Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management.  This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting network infrastructure, services including QOS, IP network connectivity, IP routing (layer 3), LAN switching (layer 2), Wireless LAN infrastructure, WAN Optimization and Application Performance issues to resolution.
  • Review logs and performance reports for emerging incidents and initiate preventative action.
  • Create and maintain all necessary technical documentation.  Ensure all work activity is accurately documented in our tracking systems.
  • Adhere to the design, programming and application standards as setup by the company.  Including compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. 
  • Provide on-call and after-hours coverage as necessary.  
Key Skills Required
  • Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent work experience
  • BA/BS degree in technical discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in production network environment
  • Cisco router/switch installation, configuration, monitoring & maintenance experience required
  • Experience with wireless LAN controllers is preferred
  • ASA firewall experience is preferred
  • Extensive working knowledge of spanning tree and layer 3 switching concepts
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS required
  • Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support is preferred
  • Some experience with circuit installation and troubleshooting desired
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and people skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
