Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day quality system and software management for internal desktop systems, standard software, and applications
  • Devise and maintain scripting solutions using PowerShell for imaging, group policies, software and hardware installations, and automation
  • Create and maintain packages for the latest OS and software updates via SCCM and other approved tools
  • Provide assistance to PC Support team to resolve problems and streamline solutions
  • Script automated solutions for software and hardware metering with various applications
  • Create change tickets, back out plans, pilot testing and monitoring of any desktop related environment changes
  • Document automated solutions, processes and procedures as well as cross-train others
  • Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Generate metric reporting for management, as needed
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment
Certification:
  • A+ Certificate or any similar training
  • Microsoft related certification or experience
  • ITIL Certified or similar
  • Advanced experience in PowerShell, Group Policy, SCCM, DNS, TCP/IP, and other fundamental system platforms
  • Advanced experience with Windows configuration, deployment, patching and maintenance
  • Advanced Active Directory experience and technical knowledge
  • Advanced operating system image build, design, automation and troubleshooting experience
  • Advanced hardware and administration support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers and telephones
  • Advanced experience in multi-media hardware and software solutions
  • Advanced troubleshooting and solution experience with Windows 10 and MS Office suites
  • Advance experience in hardware recommendations
  • Advanced experience with remote support via SCCM or similar application
  • Advance experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience
  • Advanced experience with Change management
  • Experience with ITIL best practices and methodologies
  • Experience with metric-based performance
  • Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies
  • Professional customer service skills

Education Level Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of advanced IT Support related experience
