Growing financial institution with an outstanding reputation in the community is adding a Compensation/Total Rewards Manager to staff. A great place to work with equally wonderful employees. As a result of a major period of growth this opportunity is being added to the team in HR. 

In summary, this is the role:
Responsible for providing analytical and consultative work in the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs, processes and policies that are competitive, fair and financially sustainable. Provide complete job evaluation and market pricing analysis, develop cost modeling, facilitate cyclical comp planning and collaborate with management to provide appropriate compensation guidance.
 
Specific responsibilities will include the following: 
  • Conduct job analysis and evaluations of positions for appropriate title, salary grade, incentive and FLSA classifications to ensure consistent application of compensation policies, procedures and programs. 
  • Participate and analyze industry specific and general market surveys to ensure competitive market position of salaries. Maintain market analysis database.
  • Design and build compensation metrics, reports and tools to support compensation program decisions and analyze business outcomes.
  • Manage participation in compensation surveys.
  • Manages the year-end bonus and merit process. Includes: evaluating potential adjustments to employee pay, forecasting and planning, designing and developing costing models to aid in decision-making, responding to questions and providing guidance and consultation to management throughout the year-end process.
  • Create materials to effectively communicate compensation programs, policies and practices to employees including Total Rewards Statement and Position Reward Statements.
  • Maintain the integrity of compensation and incentive plan information in the Workday HCM module.
  • Act as SME for the advanced compensation module of Workday, guiding requirements, conducting testing and coordination with all areas affected.
  • Gather insights by researching and networking with other companies to keep abreast of best practices and trends in compensation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across the organization on major incentive program initiatives linking programs to overall compensation philosophy, corporate culture, and key results. 
  • Ensure pay practices are complaint with U.S. federal and state requirements.
  • Resource for government agents or the organization's internal auditors in the auditing of company's compensation policies and practices.
 
EDUCATION
  • A bachelor's degree (4 years – BS or BA degree)
  • 6+ years' experience in administration of compensation programs.
  • Certification Compensation Professional preferred
  • Familiarity with Workday preferred but Peoplesoft will be considered
