Supply Chain Manager
ARC Group is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Operations in San Antonio, Texas for a permanent hire. The candidate selected will have overall responsibilities for leading a cross-functional, cross-divisional commodity team in the development and implementation of corporate supply chain strategies, in support of company mission and business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop, establish and deploy corporate supply chain policy, procedure, and suppliers’ agreement including purchase agreement, VMI, NDA, business compliance, etc.
  • Review, evaluate and standardize supplier management system across the sites, including commodity categorization, supplier selection, evaluation, scorecard, audit and consolidation.
  • Regular review with site materials lead on the key performance & operation measure and ensure site delivery on track towards corporate goals
  • Drive continuous improvement in term of total cost, process, delivery, lead-time, flexibility, inventory and daily operation.
  • Assist commodity team to summarize and communicate the market condition, dynamics, trend and technology to internal customers regularly.
  • Support commodity team on spend analysis, formulating supplier business proposals and recommendations that result in cost savings, avoidance or containment.
  • Work collaboratively with site GM, materials team lead and customer-focused team lead to deliver the best supply chain practise.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or supply chain management, or in related field, master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years strategic sourcing, supply chain or commodity operation management experience in EMS/electronic industry
  • Experience working in cross-functional MNC organization
  • Ability to handle multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge in ERP system is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS office and basic computer skills
  • Frequent travel is required
  • Fluent written and spoken in English, w/ Spanish as an advantage
