ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a DevOps Engineer in Jacksonville, FL.

This is an immediate opportunity initially projected to run through December 2018 with potential to extend or possibly evolve into an FTE position. This is a great opportunity to get on board with a progressive organization that offers tremendous career growth potential.
Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship, and able to work as our W2 employee for the contract.

  • 7 or more years demonstrated proficiency and experience in Coding/Development of java, python with at least 2 or more years of Devops experience.
  • 2 or more years of design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technical infrastructure or development. Proficiency in Jenkins, Gitlab and 2 or more years of working in private and public cloud experience.
  • 2 or more years of automation script.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive coding experience with Java or other languages and their interfaces and integration.
  • Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
  • Experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
  • High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
  • Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
  • Experience in coding and development of Java and Python along with administration knowledge. 
  • Experience in UNIX and shell scripting
  • Experience with Nodejs, Tomcat, OpenShift, WebSphere based environments.
