The Omni channel Program Manager will manage and lead cross-functional teams to execute the portfolio of projects identified as critical to the implementation of our omnichannel capabilities.

  • Manage the portfolio of projects required to build omnichannel capabilities at Harbor Freight, including management of multiple complex projects at one time. Partner cross functionally with teams such as Store Operations, Marketing, IT, Store Environment, Supply Chain, etc. throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective strategies to build our omni channel capabilities.
  • Serve as the overall point of contact for programs and projects – build cohesive project plans with identifiable critical paths; assess task dependencies, timelines, and deliverables; troubleshoot issues; and lead performance monitoring & management to achieve results. Responsible for ensuring successful project completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Provide visibility to ongoing status of efforts and awareness of risks and recommended mitigation strategies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, build and optimize effective operational tools, systems and processes to deliver omnichannel services while minimizing operating costs
  • Partner with Retail Operations to develop effective and efficient processes to enable:
    • Buy Online and Pick-Up in Store (BOPIS)
    • Buy in Store and Deliver to Home (Save the Sale)
    • And any additional programs involving store operations support
  • Manage the cross-functional change management efforts related to the implementation and launch of all projects to ensure proper education, training and cultural assimilation of new capabilities.

Job Qualifications - Education and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years large-scale technology and business oriented project management.
  • Prior project leadership experience implementing omni-channel programs and tools in the retail industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business or related field required
  • Demonstrated cross functional experience in use of project development life cycles or other structured project management methodologies in customer facing situations
  • Demonstrated experience in managing programs or complex projects involving multiple sub-projects
  • Experience with development and reporting of project estimates, costs, and project financial analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and directed.
