I heard from Sue Dougan, Sr VP at Pru's Fixed Income Asset Management group. We have placed her entire team at the Manager, Director & VP levels and she has trust in our assessment. There are two roles, one job description: VP and Manager. We have filled  both of these roles in the past. At the VP level: Jo-Ann DiSantis and at the Manager level: Julie Chernavsky. They should  both be in the system.
What the Sr VP wants is a very polished professional: well educated, seriously solid Technical PM/BA capable to run projects. Very, very good listening skills with proven ability to arrive at solutions. As a part of our assessment, she wants us to ask the candidates to describe the mission of a related project through solution.  This should be something they can do in a professional manner; succinct and interesting.
I have attached the resume of a candidate the Sr VP was very interested in and who could not continue the process due to relo issues. This one was at the VP level. I have no idea who this is and she sanitized it completely, but hopefully its helpful.

VP level: $175 – 185K Base, 40% Bonus

In this role you will support various initiatives working with the business users, developers and external vendors to analyze and implement strategic business solutions.  You will be responsible for analyzing and defining business analysis approach from initiation through implementation. You will ideally have experience working in multiple delivery methodologies including agile. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Solid grasp of Business Analysis concepts and SDLC methodologies to apply to enhancements and initiatives
  • Strong relationship management, communication, teamwork and influence stills
  • Partner with the business users, IT and external vendors to capture and document BRD/FRD 
  • Initiate and manage business process reviews and workflow changes, working with business users, vendors and IT when applicable.
  • Analyze data to help support business requirement gathering and data quality
  • Support day-to-day business issues
  • Analyze and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and ensuring a deep understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements to produce functional design specification documents
  • Keep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that impact the business to continue to improve efficiencies. 
  • Assist with internal/external communication, improving transparency and disseminating information
 
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Finance or related discipline (Master's a plus)
  • 5+ years experience in project delivery and business analysis
  • Knowledge of the asset management industry is a plus
  • Strong data analytical skills and ability to make independent decisions and develop creative solutions to support business strategies
  • Ability to partner successfully with other parts of the organization to achieve results
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across various levels of an organization
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to write SQL queries and understand relational database models
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and BI tools
  • Experience supporting client reporting a plus.
