Job Description:
Our client is looking for a front desk person for their busy dental practice. They are a small, tight group of individuals who work well as a team to provide high quality service and dentistry for our patients. We are looking for someone who has front desk experience. Every experience begins and ends with you.
The front desk position is a vital role and requires excellent customer service skills, organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently. We are a paperless office and use Dentrix dental software.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Greeting patients with a professional, friendly and positive demeanor upon arrival and departure of my office
Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, filling holes in the schedule from the unscheduled and continuing care lists
Confirm patients that are not confirmed electronically
Process payments, predeterminations and knowledge of insurances and EOB breakdowns
Ability to file claims electronically
Run and work aging and insurance aging accounts
Accurately close out daily transactions

Required skills:
1+ year of experience
Dentrix software knowledge
