Essential Duties :
  • Identify potential supply risks and inventory exposures by aligning supply chain processes with production plan milestones/targets.
  • Resolve competing requirements for common material and conflicting demand priorities within product management demand.
  • Creation and distribution of execution level production schedules; conferring daily with operations leadership and production management/supervision.
  • Sustain and institutionalize standard work for planning and inventory control programs.
  • Maintain department metrics, analyze trends and results. Drive appropriate corrective actions where needed.
  • Engage and support various NPI elements/tasks related to product transitions to sustaining manufacturing lines, report readiness (production strategy, material shortage preparations).
  • Provide ongoing transparency of finished goods inventory levels.
  • Support physical inventory counts; propose part ABC re-classification due to demand, value, lead times, weight and size. Perform root cause analysis, (RCA) to reconcile inventory variances.
  • Maintain accurate MRP (SAP) planning parameters for responsible product lines.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering to review proposed changes and establish ECO effectivity. Execute ECO implementation requirements.
  • Act as a liaison to integrate new product into existing manufacturing processes
  • Adhere to all manufacturing policies, guidelines and procedures. Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, (cGMP)
  • Resolve work order variances, and determine/track root cause. Work with Cost Accounting for month end close.
  • Proactively manage changes to kanban sizing due to demand fluctuation. 
Job Qualifications :
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment, 2 year degree preferred, experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry. Have the ability to operate in a regulated industry with working knowledge of ISO and regulatory restrictions. APICS certification a plus.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, understanding of vlookup, Pivot tables, macro recordings, data tables, charting, data sorting segregation and formula auditing.
  • Presents ideas effectively in formal and informal situations. Conveys thoughts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to respond to detailed inquiries, and present information to groups and senior management
  • Intermediate SAP/ERP, troubleshoot IT issues that surface with little to no assistance from business applications.
  • Basic knowledge of business disciplines production planning, supply chain management.
  • Exposure to low volume, high complexity capital equipment or high volume, low complexity products.
