  • May work independently as representative BSA for application team or provide direction to other Digital BSAs also on the project pending the size/complexity of initiative.
  • Collaborate with product team, technology team, and User Experience Group to elicit/author scope document, project requirements, and Product Backlog Items (PBIs) including Acceptance Criteria.
  • Assess application impact at IT Scope and coordinate related estimation sessions with the project team.
  • Review and Approve Project Scope, Requirements, Wireframes, Mockups, Content Matrix and Test Plan.
  • Attend Project Status meetings for assigned projects to provide Project Manager with progress updates
  • Work closely with Project Managers and App. Development Managers to formulate target delivery dates for the Scope Document (as applicable), Requirements Doc., and PBI deliverables and then deliver according to the planned schedule.
  • Facilitate PBI review and estimation sessions with the project team.
  • During Project Lifecycle, support the development and test teams by providing requirements clarification, issue resolution, and process improvement in order to ensure the delivered product is functioning accurately and within the defined business objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertize and validation support during the rollout of new functionality & during the post deployment warranty period.
  • Support production support team by analyzing production issues, defining requirements for the possible fix and helping get it prioritized for development.
  • Attend team scrum activities such as Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Amigo Review, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
  • Communicate project status to BS Lead- RM and escalate issues impacting the project or release.
  • Create Process Flow Diagrams, Data Requirements modeling & Requirements Traceability Matrix as needed.
  • Provide backup support to BSA Lead-RM for project escalations, coaching, and IT scope call representation, leading team mtgs.
  • Partner with BSA Lead-RM to spearhead CI initiatives in the application team in alignment with overall Digital BSA strategy set forth by BSA Mgr.
  • May lead CI initiatives within the BSA and/or Digital Team space.
  • May be asked to lead team meetings such as Stand-Up & Retrospectives as needed.
  • May provide coaching/mentoring to other BSAs on the team.
  • May participate in the BSA COE.
  • May work with the QA Team to review test plan, test cases and validate test scripts to ensure requirements are thoroughly tested.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min 7 years of experience of progressively responsible experience as a Business Systems Analyst in business and IT requirements analysis, detailed documentation and requirements management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have experience working on a front end application development team.
  • Must work effectively in a team environment and possess strong commitment to the team and the client.
  • Must have previous experience facilitating meetings/discussion groups related to requirements definition, issue resolution, and process improvement.
  • Experience with hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of front end web application development and IT architecture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications or other requirements management tools.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development practices and tools (MS-Team Foundation Server).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, leadership, and negotiations.
  • Sound planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of writing/understanding detailed Use Cases.
  • Knowledge of evaluating system impacts as result of changes and regression testing.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies.
