Job Summary:
Responsibilities for this position include manage customer accounts and parts logistics, US Customer Support, vendor management, order coordination in handling shipping schedules and notifications, maintain cost estimation tools and distribute monthly service and parts reports.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage end of life (EOL) parts paid contract - includes regular review of EOL parts usage and quarterly risk assessment updates.
Coordination with Japan and customer on reviewing inventory levels and risk to estimate remaining product life. Oversee review, release and action related to Standard Technical Bulletin (STB) notifications Ensure all STBs and stock levels/usage are checked to make recommendations to service managers, customers, customer service for purchase of EOL parts.
Review new product spares BOM from Japan and release to customers - review for completeness of information per Commercial Pricing Agreement requirement.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and negotiate with Japan for price discounts to offer customers price adjustments on bulk and final buy discounts.
Review PO requests from PM's and System Managers (SMs).
Issue PO's in accordance with available budgets.
Maintain log of all PO requests, PO's issued, and PO's acknowledged by vendors.
Verify pricing from vendor quotes against cost estimation tool expected pricing.
Convert customs invoices from Japan to commercial invoices for distribution to customer and freight forwarder for customs clearance of shipments.
Review and track historical pricing from for past 10 years to develop a cost estimation tool that can be used for budgeting, vendor quote verification, and pricing for customers.
Create for costs based on vendor and customer site.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Business Administration, Construction Management, Economics, Supply Management from four-year College or university and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors and suppliers and maintain good working relationships in a professional manner.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
Must be customer service oriented, multi-tasked, and good negotiation skills.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamental economics.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to reports and spread sheet applications.
Experience dealing with vendors and contractors is a plus.
