Project Description
This position is for an experienced database developer in SQL.  The team is responsible for maintaining all information about our Field Personnel, including Partnerships, Branch Hierarchy, Roles, Client Registration all influencing Strategic Teaming and Compensation.  The team's goal is to build a centralized database and books of record for all Personnel in Wealth Management.  The Field Personnel lead candidate would play a lead role on the team with the following responsibilities:
  • Understanding Business needs and converting them into technical specs
  • Developing SQL Stored procedures used across many systems
  • Coordinating with other offshore leads  to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Working with a team as a process-oriented person and adhere to the organization's product development standards
  • Centralizing Data Service Requests
  • Advising on the Database Design for Optimized Data Access
  • Working with other development groups to understand/gain access to data
  
Primary Skills / Must have
  • Expertise in developing SQL Stored Procedures and SQL databases
  • Expertise in Database design
  • Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and written skills and willingness to work across time zones
  • Strong SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency
  • Experience with project management software and developing/implementing best practices  
  • Knowledge of Informatica tool a plus
  • 5-8 years of experience in development
  • Experience with performance trouble shooting and remediation
  • Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions
