Job Title: Workfront Software Developer 4-Contingent
Job Summary
This position is the development and engineering lead for the Workfront platform within the LDS Church ICS department. This candidate will be expected to lead the design strategy leveraging platform capabilities that best support the business processes both within Workfront and other integrated tools.
This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a development lead with the Workfront platform
· Experience with the Workfront API
· Bachelor's degree and 6 years engineering experience
· Strong software development background
· Previous experience as technical lead for an enterprise software deployment and ongoing operations
· Scripting skills especially with JavaScript or Python.
· CSS and HTML5
· Java API and RESTful web services
· Database query experience (SQL scripts and SQL select, TQL)
· .net and angular experience

· Oracle APEX
· Servicenow platform
· Jira
· Jama platform

Responsibilities
This person will mentor others as they become familiar with the platform and ensure implementation consistency with the IT Tools guiding principles. They will partnership development of system integrations, code review and test other development efforts for implementation.
Candidate will conduct technical alignment and design meetings as needed. They will be expected to engage in team activities around system design, development and testing of functionality as well as the release and operational management of the systems.
Candidate will be expected to engage with customers, understand and clearly define their functional requirements, package those into deliverables and develop functionality that meets the business needs. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, and expected to take an active role in defining, planning and reporting on their work and its progress.
This person will help create and maintain architecture map of systems and their technical relationships to each other as needed for the team. Must be willing to take on assignments within the team as needed to meet the priority business requests. These assignments will vary both in code development and platform configuration.
Candidate will also serve as technical escalation point for other ICS teams dependent on the Workfront platform.
