Rate: DOE (depending on experience)

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong Murex expertise in a global Fixed Income Derivatives environment.
  • Strong Murex Architecture experience
  • Background implementing Murex workflows, reports, accounting – implementing front office and supporting traders on Murex.
  • Experience with Murex – integration of Market Data, set up and knowledge of fixed income securities within system –static data, Market data, structures
  • Ability and prior experience to work with Front Office, Middle Office and Product Control using Murex 
  • Good communication skills. Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders as a Murex expert.
  • Knowledge of P/L and Risk within  Murex environment
  • Other front office, back office, risk management and trading technologies are a plus.
 The ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving skills.  The candidate will work with technology and business partners throughout the firm and should be self-motivated. 
 
Strong knowledge of Murex within a front office fixed income trading environment is required.
 
Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to support financial products into Murex end to end/front to back:
  • Support the Front Office traders on Murex for Fixed Income Structured Notes, Equity Hybrid Notes, Total Return Swaps, IRS, Cash Hedges, and Futures etc.
  • Interest Rate Swaps – Swap life cycle and life cycle events.
  • Static data, market data and an understanding of derivative price inputs.
  • Real time market data via ICAP, Bloomberg BPIPE and data license product.
The candidate will also participate in ongoing implementations of the Murex platform:
  • Requirement gathering from senior business stakeholders: FO, Risk, MO, PC
  • Involvement in solutions design with the vendor and with internal teams.
  • Planning and execution of testing phases (Unitary testing, UAT, SIT, etc.)
  • Support  and build Curves and Volatility surfaces in Murex 
  • Support of model validation efforts
  • User training
