Job Description:
  • Full desk (sales and recruiting) responsibility with quotas on jobs orders and candidate submittals as well as placements and total fees.
  • Responsible for meeting and establishing relationships with companies in your assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop long-term relationships with decision makers who are building or adding to their technology teams.
  • Proactive and strategic lead generation through outside sales activities including referrals, solutions selling, cold calls, email campaigns, territory targeting and client/candidate relationship building.
  • A true Hunter, "politely persistent ", with strong persuasiveness and sales and recruiting closing abilities.
  • Ability to overcome objections, identify buying signals and win the business (job orders and placements).
  • Recruits, screens and presents candidates to Hiring Managers and pre-closes on rates.
  • Identify and qualify new job orders daily, weekly, monthly.
  • Identify, screen and submit candidates daily, weekly, monthly.
  • Attend networking functions to identify new clients as well as after-hours functions to solidify existing relationships.

Required Skills:
  • 3+ years working a "full desk with a successful track record in direct hire staffing including the business development, account management and recruiting sides of the desk
  • Broad technology network using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc
  • Familiarity with technologies such as; .NET, C#, Java, J2EE, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, Systems, Networking, Telecom, etc.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.
  • An understanding of typical roles in a technology department.
  • Ability to take directions and strive to accomplish challenging goals.
  • Ability to run your desk like a business, work well autonomously.

Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • Group presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles to achieve goals.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Applications Development, Database Design, Business Intelligence, ERP or CRM.
  • Understanding of the local job market as it pertains to Technology and/or Engineering.
