Job Description:

Our client is expanding their team – join one of the world's largest premier software and information technology companies around. They are looking for an extremely talented and dependable senior level Exchange/Active Directory Administrator to support the enterprise!
  • Provide day-to-day Windows System Administration support to assigned systems
  • Configure, test, implement and manage new deployments of servers; test and evaluate hardware as needed
  • Maintain system documentation (such as "Original Build & Configuration” documents for each application and server you deploy)
  • Establish and monitor user accounts; enforce established system and security policies, ensure data is only accessed by authorized personnel
  • Provide 3rd level technical support to end-users and team members
  • Monitor servers for performance and maintain system environment according to industry "best practices”
  • Install system upgrades, perform routine server maintenance, perform hardware/software diagnostics and maintain server software versions
  • Provide on-call support for the systems administration group according to the on call schedule
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of administration and management of a Microsoft Windows 2008/2012
  • Extensive Active Directory work experience
  • Experience supporting a large server environment (100 plus servers)
  • Client/Dell server hardware
  • Corporate computing environment experience with 500 or more end users
  • Operating Microsoft technologies in a WAN environment
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • VMWare ESX Server 6.x and vCenter 6.x (P2V, DRS, HA, etc)
  • Storage Area Networks (NetApp, Nimble)
  • Enterprise level Backup Software (Veritas NetBackup Enterprise Server)
  • Experience supporting a Citrix environment
  • Antivirus software (Symantec is preferred)
  • Hardware and software load balancers and clusters
  • SSL certificates and certificate authorities
  • Understanding of DNS, WINS, and TCP/IP
  • Experience with Data Center Operations or Network Operations Center environments
  • Familiarity with Linux support and administration
  • Writing scripts for automation of process and tasks (Windows PowerShell)
  • Administration and Management of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS
