Job Description
  • The Sr. Business Planner is responsible for the creation, analysis and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and leading and supporting project teams with overall program planning, tracking, status, maintenance, cost and schedule integration, and reporting.
  • Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.
  • Participates in the preparation of schedules for all contract work and performs and/or assists in critical path and variance analysis.
  • Stays aware of and incorporates contractual changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic contract schedule baselines.
  • This position is the overall program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule.
  • This would be more administrative, the person in the position would have to produce and maintain project plans, working directly with team members to collect status regarding ongoing projects.

  • Bachelor's Degree Business or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Create and maintain project plans, at start-up, throughout program length, and during the roll-off period
  • Responsible for project baseline management (initial baseline, ETC, and EAC updates) in MPM
  • Responsible for generating cost and schedule reports as required by the program
  • Report program performance through the IMS
  • Resource and schedule analysis to ensure effective use of resources and timing of all tasks in the control account
  • Provide schedule structures, definitions and documentation
  • Validate that the program team is managing the plan accurately and appropriate percentage of work is being recognized based on milestones
  • Works with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and Finance team to manage and plan program baseline change requests (BCRs)
  • Support with baseline integration functions including Gate 5
  • Earned Value status of the project plans
  • Perform critical path analysis
  • Provide analysis, reports and recommendations regarding corrective action measures
  • Balance technical/quality/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Minimum of 4 years of overall experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in program planning
  • Strong understanding of the Earned Value Management System
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Advanced level MS Project experience or equivalent
  • ¿Advanced level MS Excel experience or equivalent
  • Financial background is a plus
  • Training and Development background is a plus
