Job Description
  • Our Client is seeking a Principal Network Analyst in Washington, DC.
  • The individual selected for this position will provide technical support to an Integrated Air Defense Operations Center.
  • Operate, monitor, and control the physical data link and transport layers of installed communications and computer systems.
  • Provide technical and professional support in connection with tactical and operational level air and missile defense communications systems.
  • Plans, designs, and implements the full range of joint, secure, tactical protocols using Link 16, Link 11B, Link 11A, FAAD Data Link (FDL), Remote Radar Data Link (RRDL), United States Message Text Format (USMTF), and other tactical protocols.
  • Understand and be able to configure and manipulate C2 systems such as Joint Range Extension (JRE), Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), and Forward Area Air Defense Engagement Operations (FAAD/EO) and the Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI).
  • Designs and establishes tactical data link services extended over satellite communications systems (SATCOM), as well as point to point IP based services.
  • Coordinates equipment maintenance, tracks licensing agreements, warranty services, and prepares a wide variety of reports.
  • Provide physical and data integration with Battle Management Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems.
  • As a member of the system engineering team, will provide the command and control joint interoperability design definition to ensure both data and voice communications are supported by all services.
  • Ability to lead the integration effort for both tactical and commercial radar data links to include the Airport Surveillance Radar and Sentinel Radar into a seamless Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP).
Education/Experience
  • Active secret clearance
  • Duty hours will entail shift work to include some weekends
  • Background and relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Travel will be required but on a limited basis 10%
  • Must live in the Washington, DC area
  • Relocation is not available for this position
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' work experience or equivalent experience
