Job Description

The Member and Statistical Records portfolio is seeking a mid-level full stack engineer to join our team on contract. The qualified candidate will work with a team to design, develop, customize, and integrate software. This person will work with the software team responsible for both front end and back end services for Leader and Clerk Resources, as well as other projects. Development will focus on web applications running desktop and mobile platforms.

· Provide programming and integration on specific projects as part of a multi-discipline team.
· Participate in daily stand-up meetings and actively participate in iteration planning.
· Participate in user story estimation.

This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.

Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
Required Skills
· BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
· 3-5 years of relevant experience
· Demonstrated web application development experience
· Solid understanding and experience in front end technologies, such as frameworks
· (AngularJS, React.js, etc.), JavaScript (ES6 and vanilla), JSON, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Node.js, AJAX, etc.
· Solid understanding and experience in multiple back end technologies such as Java, Spring, Web Services, Oracle, Hibernate, etc.
· Experience building user interfaces and integrating with middle-tier code and back-end data sources
· Experience with SOAP and REST Web Service technologies
· Test driven development experience is highly desirable
· Working knowledge of Object Oriented development and Object modeling
· Database experience preferred, specifically with Oracle and SQL Server
· Proficiency with Git and JIRA
· Strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to work both on a team and individually in an agile environment
