Pay Rate: $15-17/hr

Job Description:
The client is a leading provider of healthcare professionals.  They are looking for a part-time helpdesk candidate that can come onsite for a day or two of training and then be able to work 3-8 hour blocks, 2-3 times per month.  The Support Services team frequently does trainings, events and other activities that take them away from the phones and ability to field support calls and support requirements.  The candidate would be given notice 2-3 weeks in advance of the times needed to be filled so they can arrange their schedule accordingly.  

Here is a list of specific duties the job entails:
· Provide first level support for resolution of client computer problems and requests
· Monitor systems and review system logs for problems
· Provide desktop support for computer hardware and software
· Deploy and maintain workstation hardware and software
· Perform proactive maintenance on copiers, printers, fax machines and other related IT hardware
· Provide Network support for IP addressing, wiring, printer mappings, and file share mappings
· Track and maintain workstation hardware and software inventory
· Provide phone system support, including cell phone, and PDA type devices

Required Skills:
  • Customer service skills
  • PC knowledge of hardware and software
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and common Windows applications
