Compensation – $135k+ salary depending on experience

Job Summary:
Our client has created a new role for someone with strong leadership experience to manage and build cohesiveness with their Software Development, QA, Infrastructure teams. The right person for this role is going to be someone from a software development background in some capacity. Their products and lines of business are already well established within the financial industry, this role will not be to re-architect, pull the guts out, or rewrite them. They need this person to build cohesive bridges between these groups.

Core Required Skills/Experience:
  • 6+ years of Technology Management / Leadership experience of 40 – 60 direct/indirect reports
  • Has managed Software Dev teams for both Enterprise & Web products;
  • Comes from a background of massive data flows / data feeds
  • Experienced with Real-Time data solutions
  • Previous experience as a developer
  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in a technical area)
Desired:
  • Knowledge of the financial investment industry (this is a plus)
  • Background / previous experience with Java / Swing
