Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00per hr / Salary Target: $70K - $85K

Job Description:
Our client is in the loan financing space and is growing their technology team. They are looking to hire a Sr. Helpdesk/Systems Administration Specialist to primarily support our clients' internal office operations. This person will provide technical support to internal staff as well as external customers that may be using our clients' software systems. The candidate will need strong Windows OS (desktop and Servers version) experience.
This role is going to be about 80% customer facing so being highly presentable, professional, and personable will be crucial.
  • Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, handheld devices, printers, monitors, portable data storage devices, WIFI access points and other peripherals.
  • Provides support for users through Server applications.
  • Configures IT devices for secure operation, including installation of security software, software updates, and other configurations as required.
  • Uses an IT ticket system, is responsible for receiving and tracking the trouble tickets, assigns them to a technical specialist for action and ensures that their tickets are resolved, and closed out with the customer and in the system.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years in a Help Desk and Systems Administration experience
  • Windows Server 2008, 2012 Administration
  • Basic LAN configuration
  • VMware
  • Office 365 experience
  • BA, BS or similar degree in Computers/Electronics or equivalent experience
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • MAC and/or Linux support experience
  • Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and independent worker
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, serving multiple clients each day
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • MCTS/MCP Windows 8 or above Certification
