Job Description
  • The Client is currently looking for a Labview Test Design Engineer with a broad range of experience to join our test engineering team.
  • As a member of this team, you will work alongside design engineers, test engineers, and operations to develop state-of-the-art systems to test Spacecraft, Launch Vehicle, and Infrared Imaging products.
  • Experience developing test software with Labview /TestStand and/or test hardware based on the PXI platform is desirable.
  • Conceive and develop flexible hardware and software test systems for application across a wide variety of new and existing Spacecraft, Launch Vehicle, and Infrared Imaging products.
  • Develop test requirements, methods, and test solutions from requirements flowed down from design engineering
  • Support the ongoing problem resolution and upgrade of current production automated and semi-automated test systems
  • Work with operations and design engineers to identify and implement potential enhancements to existing test and measurement systems
  • Initiate and drive the development of test processes and plans and procedures following the Client's test platform
  • Execute tests against hardware and software to validate features, functionality and performance
  • Document results and work closely with designers and others to analyze and debug issues
  • Minimum of BS Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years developing software with NI LabVIEW / TestStand
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, counters, DMMs, and PXI test equipment
  • Prior experience in ATE development using PXI hardware
  • Prior experience with RF equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.)
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing acceptance test procedures, production test plans, and test documentation from design requirements
  • Experience with Labview FPGA / RT
