Job Description
  • The Client is looking for a Business Process Analyst in Troy, MI who can apply their skills in data collection, analysis, and metrics gathering to help clarify and quantify performance.
  • This person will work with multiple layers of the organization and its customers, in both team and individual settings, to improve efficiency by translating business needs through advanced analysis; leading to continued improvement.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Education/Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst
  • Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail abilities
  • Ability to build reports, dashboards and scorecards leveraging various data warehouse platforms
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience effectively communicating through charts, graphs, text, and stand-up presentations
  • Exposure to multiple methodologies in metrics analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field
Desired
  • Experience with HTML, SQL, and/or other web development experience is highly desired
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment while prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis for benchmarking purposes
  • Possess an understanding of the training and learning industry
  • Experience with Cornerstone On Demand Learning
  • Experience with SAP Learning Solution
  • Experience with dashboard tools; IBM Cognos, iDashboards, Tableau, Business Objects Dashboards, or other dashboard tool
  • Ability to report metrics on a detail to a summary level and manipulate the data into meaningful performance measurements
  • Ability to recognize and solve data problems and inconsistencies
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to profile data to identify and escalate data integrity issues
  • Ability to provide recommendations to management based on data and observations
  • Ability to combine quantitative data with practical insights
