JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client is looking for experienced individuals with management consulting and Big 4 background. Some travel is required.
Position/Program Requirements
  • Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6 years of Program/Project Management, Assurance and Management Consulting experience.
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance/Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics Mathematics, Regulatory Compliance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or other business fields of study.
  • Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration and/or technology related field
  • Certification(s) Preferred: Agile and PMP
  • Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success with performing assessments, developing project management and assurance strategies, conducting program and project-related assessments, and recommending solutions to improve management and provide for project and success related to the common business issues facing clients who provide products and services in several service sectors, including the following areas:
  • Applying core project management processes as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI);
  • Delivering and/or assessing large complex ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday, and/or PeopleSoft) programs and/or projects (e.g., serving a leader in software implementations);
  • Creating proposals and leading business development activities, including a proven record of success leveraging executive presence and negotiation skills to develop compelling value-added business cases and/or win proposal bids.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge serving in a leadership role (i.e., project lead, project manager, functional specialist) on a large complex program and/or projects.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge in a core project management process area (i.e., IT governance, quality assurance, or SDLC), project management software/tool, and/or ERP or industry specific application such as Guidewire, Summit, Calypso.
Skills Preferred: 

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success with developing comprehensive project management strategies that assist clients in achieving project success, including: 
  • Conducting program and project assessments, emphasizing the following business sectors: healthcare payers or providers, insurance, manufacturing, consumer products, and/or retail;
  • Utilizing project management software and technologies (ex: Microsoft Project, Primavera, CA Carity);
  • Identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection;
  • Leading teams to generate a vision, establishing direction and motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and actively promoting continuous improvement and innovation;
  • Developing strategy; writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of audiences, especially extensive report-writing skills. Leveraging system development life cycle principles, application lifecycle management tools and methods, as well as an awareness of trends and directions in emerging technologies.
