Position Description
Work with our Private Bank, N.A., Private Banking Group, and various other business and technology units as a Business Analyst to plan, lead analysis, and execute projects in the Mortgages Technology team. The role will define the project's objectives, scope, and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications. This role includes directing and managing project development from beginning to end.

Specific responsibilities include:
Business Analysis
-Document business and functional requirements, including workflow, business rules, and use cases
-Define/document application infrastructure and architecture
-Assist with QA/Testing to convert use cases to test cases
-Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
-Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
-Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the Credit Risk project 
-Translate Business Requirements into Functional Specs

Required Skills
-Minimum 2-4 years in a large complex banking organization or major consulting organization acting in a formal project management capacity
-Competent and proficient understanding of general technology environment (platforms, organizational structure and culture, teams involved in the successful completion of technology initiatives, etc.)
-Excellent analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
-Excellent communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
-Understanding of Credit Risk is a MUST
-Proficient in using data tools (ex: IBM Data Studio, SQL Management Studio) with excellent skills in data analytic (ex: ability to write queries with multiple joins with good understanding of SQL Table Index)
-Strongly detail oriented and organized
-Self-motivated and can work independently as well as in a team environment
-Highly versed in various development methodologies, including waterfall and agile software development lifecycle
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
-Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
-Technical background in integration, development, and/or infrastructure
-Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodology

Skills Desired
CSM certification (optional)
Previous experience in the financial services field, with emphasis on retail mortgage technology
MBA (optional)
PMP certification (optional)
