Leading manufacturing company who is looking to hire an HR Coordinator to join their team. Candidate must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently.
Job Duties:
  • Responsible for KRONOS data and making edits for payroll processing. This includes distribution of time keeping records, paying holiday, vacation and sick pay benefits.
  • Maintaining attendance records of all plant personnel. Maintaining attendance (point) system for hourly employees, recording usage of sick time, and vacation time. Informing Human Resource Superintendent of disciplinary action for attendance within guidelines of attendance policy.
  • Responsible for processing Personnel Action Notification Forms for all employees in the Plant.
  • Prepares letters, correspondence, employment verification, etc. request for employees as needed.
  • Prepares monthly reports for use in the department and other departments within the organization. This includes distribution, posting, and filing information.
  • Works with the temporary agencies in coordination plant needs of filling positions and ending of assignments.
  • Responsible for working with Assistant HR Manager and Safety with Worker's Compensation communications between insurance carrier and company, including: filing WC claims following- up with employees, and plant management.
  • Compiling weekly and monthly reports for temporary and labor. This includes: data input of hours, data processing & verifying weekly invoices, accrual reporting.
  • Translates various materials: Spanish to English/English to Spanish
  • Acts as interpreter in various situations: Spanish /English.
  • May be involved with screening and interviewing of applicants upon request or as needed.
  • Assists with the attendance calendars for all employees.
  • Support the HR Asst. Manager with EEO file reporting and EEOC regulations. This includes case research, copies, and appeal document preparation.
  • Answers any employee and supervisor inquiries regarding personnel related issues
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
