 General Purpose:
Provide complete electrical, electronic and PLC troubleshooting and repair support to a high-speed glass bottling facility. Execute repair work orders and requests in a timely manner to ensure production needs are met. Will lean and/or support continuous improvement projects for the facility. Perform the above tasks in a safe manner following safety and environmental regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair and adjust control systems and PLC's.
Troubleshoot, repair and adjust power and motor control systems.
Trouble-shoot equipment malfunctions and make repairs accordingly.
Assist with set-up and installation of new equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance functions as assigned.
Assist operations with setup and changeover issues as necessary.
Train/mentor other technicians as possible.
Follows all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED/Military/College with minimum 7-10 years industrial maintenance electrical experience. Trade/Technical school certification in a related field such as Industrial Electronics / Electricians / PLC experience is preferred.
Prior experience in a food or bottling manufacturing environment a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
PLC control systems, power distribution systems, sensors, transmitters, automatic valves and other integrated electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
Troubleshooting skills a must.
Previous experience with integrated electromechanical equipment a must.
Must be able to read, write and speak English
