Maintenance Multicraft Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Goal:
  • Serves as a technical expert for maintaining production equipment required to produce products with minimum downtime
  • Troubleshoots problems on production lines and takes corrective action within a time manner.
  • Ensures the proper adjustments off all production process relevant parameters as like spot welding, roller hemming, adhesive application and others
  • Being an active part of the continual improvement process/programs
  • Ensure personal training is up to date on all utilized technologies
  • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Ensures professional, orderly and clean appearance of their work areas at all times

Primary Tasks:
  • Supervision of contractors.
  • Perform regular PM s.
  • Monitors and initiates reordering of spare parts and other services in a cost effective manner.
  • Performs duties both independently and in a team environment.
  • Serves as the point of contact for other departments and personnel
  • Provides documentation of completed tasks in the Daily Shift Log
  • Keeps Supervisor informed regarding overall status
  • Works close together with other maintenance departments.
  • Be responsible for company owned equipment and use in a correct and proper manner.
Education:
  • High school Degree or equivalent technical education required
  • Successful completion of a formalized Apprenticeship Program preferred

Experience
  • Solid work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Automotive Industry
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in electric maintenance/ assembly maintenance

Knowledge & Skill
Possess the following attributes and characteristics:
  • Electrical and Electronic knowledge
  • Trouble shooting skills on Robots, Drives, PLC, Field communication bus, HMI and other programmable devices
  • Demonstrated ability to independently act without permanent direct supervision
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex technical issues
  • Excellent multi-task skills; able to prioritize accordingly
  • Mechanical and plumping knowledge
  • Forklift, Crane and Boom-Lift licenses
  • Computer skills in software for common application (Word, Excel, Windows...) and basic hardware knowledge on component level.
