The IBM – Resource on Demand Team is seeking a Senior SuccessFactors Functional Consultant for a contract opportunity in the Ottawa area.


Role description:
Looking for a senior SuccessFactors functional consultant for the implementation of SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing and Recruiting Administration including integration to existing SuccessFactors modules. The implementation of the SuccessFactors Recruitment modules will be a replacement of the current SaaS Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and include elements such as: the candidate profiles (both internal and external); job posters and requisitions integrated to the Employee Central module; sourcing; web presence for internal and external job sites; letters of offer; integrated notifications and status of candidates throughout the process; etc.

The functional consultant will be part of the implementation team consisting of a Project Sponsor, HR Subject Matter Expert/Business Owner, Program Manager, Project Manager, Solution Architect and Business Analyst. The functional consultant will also support the web communications team in the delivery of the internal and external web sites.


In 2017, they implemented SuccessFactors, specifically going live with the Performance, Learning, Compensation and Employee Central modules. Although much of HRM is enabled by SuccessFactors, the bank continues to use SAP HR for time and payroll processing and Fiori is used as the gateway interface to all SAP related functionality. Recruiting administration is provided through a SaaS solution.


TASKS AND DELIVERABLES
  • The Functional Consultant will have a solid understanding of SuccessFactors Recruiting Administration & Recruiting Marketing and the ability to translate that understanding into desired business solutions and detailed business requirements.
  • The Functional Consultant will work closely with the assigned Bank's Human Resources and ITS team members to accomplish their teams' deliverables and to ensure knowledge transfer while providing direction regarding the SuccessFactors solution.
  • The implementation process will be an iterative approach. The Functional Consultant will lead process, requirements and configuration workshops with the core team and provide detailed documentation out of the workshops.
  • The Functional Consultant will lead iteration demos with a broader audience and ensure outcomes are well documented.
  • The Functional Consultant is responsible for the configuration and testing of the solution based on the defined business requirements generated during the workshops.
  • The Functional Consultant shall also provide best practice recommendations and take into consideration lessons learned from other SuccessFactors implementations.
  • The Functional Consultant will be responsible to work with the project manager to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
  • This role is expected to be primarily on-site at our head office (Ottawa) to work efficiently with project, ITS and HR operational teams

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with implementing Recruiting Administration with integration to Employee Central.
  • Experience with implementing Recruiting Marketing for internal and external web design.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience is preferable and expert SuccessFactors knowledge of Recruiting Administration & Recruiting Marketing;
  • Completion of at least 3 (preferably) or more full life cycle SuccessFactors implementations.
  • Experience developing test cases, business process flow diagrams, and training documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • SuccessFactors partner certification.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes being enabled.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation (different stakeholder groups representing different levels within organizations).
  • Knowledge across modules to ensure that consideration is taken in any business or configuration decisions for the specific module would be considered an asset.
  • The functional lead will have expertise in access and control.
  • The functional lead will have expertise in reporting.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience as an HR generalist or Recruiter.
  • Experience interfacing the Recruiting solution with existing job boards including, but not limited to: Econjob market, Workopolis, Jobs.gc.ca., Indeed, jobpostings.ca

CONTRACT TERM
The estimated term of this engagement is January 25 2018 to June 30 2018.

  • Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance – Enhanced Reliability Status or higher
