Our client has assisted thousands of people with a variety of disabilities by providing the highest quality and most innovative lift systems in the world and is looking for a Sales Representative to cover their NY territory which includes Manhattan and the Bronx up to the Albany area.
What will you have by working with this company?

Stability, our client has been in business for more than 30 years. Their systems and services are available in Europe, North America and Australia.
Training in Sales and Products/Services offered by the company; after your training you will provide free in-home demonstrations and facility in-services, which include patient evaluation, architectural assessment, and system design. Sales Representatives go the extra mile to create the very best solution to accomplish the end user’s goals in private residences, group homes, schools, hospitals, day care centers, and any setting where mobility equipment is used for patient care.
 
This is a Direct Hire Position with a base salary and a year end bonus structure: with this position, you will have security and ability to earn additional commission based on your performance:  You will be feeling you are helping others and improving their lives and at the same time you will be receiving an interesting paycheck by doing that.

Exclusive Territory, our client provides exclusive territories for their sales representatives. Whenever leads are received at the main office, whether that’s through the website, VA hospitals, trade shows, etc., those leads are sent to the Sales Person in the assigned territory.  You will be working in and out of the home office in this position.  Your focus will be to maintain local accounts and building new clients.
 
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
  • Assist and advise wheelchair users, their caregivers, doctors, therapists and other professionals on the lift systems solutions offered by the company. These solutions will help users: Access to bed, bath, or toilet (immediate objectives), but changing clothes, catheterization, standing and ambulating, taking a swim or even mounting a horse. 
  • Perform site evaluations and patient assessments and then recommend appropriate systems to best meet the need and the budget of each user.
  • Conduct training for proper usage and maintenance of the lift systems. 
  • Cultivate leads from current clients and professional contacts.
  • Attend trade shows and events to represent company and acquire leads.
  • Develop sales in a defined territory to meet or exceed goals provided by Home Office.
 
Main Requirements:
  • We are looking for a self-starter and empathetic person that feels comfortable engaging people with disabilities. 
  • Likeable and compassionate, derives satisfaction from helping people.
  • Flexible to travel to visit clients, in private residences, group homes, schools, hospitals, day care centers, and any setting where mobility equipment is used for patient care.
  • We are open to consider Physical Therapists that want a career change, or a Professional that is Sales oriented with strong motivation to help others.
  • Please keep in mind this is a position has a base salary, a modest Commission structure; as you will be an employee with benefits. If you are a Sales Rep used to a base salary plus commission, this might be the opportunity for you. 
  • Need a clean (or near clean) driver's license. 
  • Have a vehicle to carry the equipment - a Van or SUV helpful
  • Ability to lift 50lbs +

NOTERepresentative should reside in the geographic location of the assigned territory (no relocation package or out of state candidates will be considered).
