Level 1 Thermographer (Infrared Technician) - Long Term Contract

Level I Thermographer needed for entry level position:       This is a long-term contract position.  At this time we are only considering local applicants - thank you.

Our Client is looking for Infrared thermography certified talent.  Are you a Level I Thermographer or Level I Infrared Technician?  Do you have the SNT-TC-1A Certification for NDT? (Non-Destructive Testing) via ANST.

Are you just getting started and looking for experience in your new career?
We are looking for elementary candidates trained in using the infrared technology for preventive maintenance, quality assurance, condition monitoring and nondestructive testing of materials?  You will be performing qualitative thermography and collecting data and follow inspection procedures. You will be capturing clear thermograms and make basic inferences and diagnosis for the client.
The Level I technician will be using your infrared theory, heat transfer concepts, operation of thermal imaging equipment and provide the client with quality thermal images that are clear, concise and easy to interpret.
You will be working in the Chicago, Illinois Suburban areas – you must be dependable, reliable and determined to succeed.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
  • Collect quality data, accurate temperature readings, and account for measurement effects such as distance and emissivity using infrared cameras.
  • Interpret thermograms and make informed decisions using heat transfer concepts to analyze thermal images
  • Distinguish between hot spots and reflections, direct vs. indirect readings and qualitative vs. quantitative thermography.
  • Report findings using ARCGIS software
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word experience
Preferred:
  • Level I, III or III ASNT Thermography Certification
  • Drone Pilot Certification
