Job Description.

Sales Operations Program Manager
Sales Operations Project and Change Management Office (PCMO), is looking for an experienced, passionate, and results-oriented Program Manager to drive, coordinate & project manage the Business Change Management teams, Product Owners, and key stakeholders across a large enterprise sales process re-platforming initiative.  The role requires an individual with excellent senior level project management abilities and an outstanding track record of delivering results. The candidate must have exemplary communication skills, bring attention to detail and possess a strong ability to influence without authority. As a program manager, you will work closely with the product owners to develop and manage the execution of best practices to guide the product development through various stages of the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an experienced program manager with a balance of technical and business skills who is able to coach teams as well as drive cross-functional projects and key operational processes in a fast-paced agile environment. This includes having a strong ability to collaborate across all functions of the company and communicate with peers, outside teams and executive staff.
What you'll do
  • Drive strategic and tactical decisions to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Closely partner across project and product boundaries, working with service, business and cloud tech teams to manage dependencies, define schedules, plans, and drive alignment.
  • Drive projects and coordinate inter-dependencies across product owners to deliver to plan.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Change Management resources and key stakeholders regarding product definition, project schedule, feature scope, commitments and project-related decisions.
  • Be a change agent: Identifying and implementing ways to improve processes and remove bottlenecks to systemically improve how we deliver value to our customers.  
  • Effectively manage change and risk, partnering with your colleagues to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements.
  • Manage status and reporting to provide project clarity and transparency to various levels in the organization and stakeholders.
  • Manage and drive complex decision-making and problem solving in a decisive, confident and prompt manner.
  • Be an agile coach and mentor: Participating in daily agile activities and acting as a trusted advisor to support teams to increase their efficiency and productivity and ensuring the right features are designed and delivered on time with the highest quality.
  • Assist in the development and extension of the Sales Operations PCMO methodology.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with varied stakeholders, including but not limited to Sales Operations, IT, Field Enablement, Back Office Operations and Marketing and Business Unit product teams.
  • Proven ability to provide structure and necessary process without compromising execution or the needs of the team, customer or product.
  • Ability to align efforts of disparate groups to achieve a common goal.
  • Experience with development methodologies and tactics for roadmap, backlog and development management are required. Agile, Scrum, and/or other iterative development methodologies preferred.
  • Self-motivated and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrates a strong bias to action
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles (ideally ADKAR), methodologies and tools
  • Experience working with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Project Management Institute's PMP) desired
  • Change management certification or designation desired
  • Experience managing projects with remote/geographically dispersed team members
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a program manager in software, SaaS and/or related industry. A combined history of product management, development or quality engineering work and customer support experience is ideal.
