  • Master Data Management Contingent Position


    Job Overview  


    The opportunity is focused on implementation and support activities of Our Client North America's various master data management initiatives. This position requires working knowledge of master data management policies, practices, strategies and tools with a focus on multiple data domains.   


    This opportunity will require interacting with different project teams, functional and technical consultants, internal and external key stakeholders. The ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere effectively is critical.


    Key/Primary Responsibilities

    • Assist with the definition of master data strategy in coordination across all domains
    • Execute tactical projects to achieve the long-term strategy
    • Be the subject matter expert with regards to master data management for the team member/dealer domain
    • Participate in scrum teams to represent and deliver master data requirements and standards
    • Maintain documentation of strategies, initiatives and solutions throughout the project lifecycle and maintains knowledge management resources such as One Our Client Service, SharePoint, Confluence, etc.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders in developing requirements and business controls.
    • Potentially manage small to mid-sized teams to achieve key milestones associated with the overall strategy
    • Perform all tasks in the development cycle:
      • business process definition
      • configuration and unit testing
      • assistance and follow-up with user testing
      • co-ordination of transports to Production
      • training and post-live support and fixes
    • Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
    • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
    • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
    • In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
    • Provides leadership in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
    • Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
    • Leads data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
    • Leads the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned
      • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
      • 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in related application development or data services roles
      • Project Management experience including the ability to identify project milestones and associated tasks
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and persuade others
      • Ability to present concepts and recommendations to others
      • The Manager prefers someone who is Central located. But is open to the right resource sitting in anytime zone as long as they are comfortable with the time zone difference.


        Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated experience with master data management tools such as Informatica or SAP MDG
      • Related technical certifications
  • Bill Rate Range - Target $120.00 - Max $140.00
