As s Data Quality Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, programming testing, deploying, maintaining, and documenting a project's data quality procedures and its outputs. The DQ Analyst must document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications. The primary tasks associated with this role are to use Data Quality tools to profile the project source data, define or confirm the definition of the metadata, cleanse and validate the project data, check for duplicate or redundant records, and provide data consuming parties with concrete proposals on how to proceed with solution development.

Responsibilities
  • 7 or more years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Data Quality (DQ) toolset.
  • Implement data quality processes including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization and enrichment at point of entry and batch modes
  • Maintain manual and automated test scripts and recommend modification as per requirements.
  • Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules with DQ tools.
  • Examine complex data and turn it into information and insight to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify any issues or ways to improve systems and database designs.
  • must document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications
  • To Collaborate with database developers to implement effective automation processes by developing Access queries in the SQL platform so data can be mined for quality control and accuracy.
  • Perform both record-level and large-scale manual additions, adjustments and corrections to continuously ensure overall data quality and integrity
  • Should work with statistical packages and programming codes much of the time and be able to work with data models and data mining software.
  • To have strong analytical abilities, be able to condense complex data into digestible information for use in other parts of the business, and have an aptitude for numbers.
  • Proficient at writing SQL queries and verifying the results
Should have experience on leading Data Quality tools (Informatica IDQ)
