Scheduled Work Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (including 1 hour for lunch), 35 work hours per week, possible evenings and/or weekends.
Project Start/End Date: Project Start Date – March 5th, 2018 or sooner

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Technical documentation of interfaces between SchoolFood's enterprise Point-Of-Sale system and internal SchoolFood applications.
Create interface architecture as well as data flow related documentation for interfaces between multiple vendors and departments within SchoolFood (e.g. Eligibility and Accountability, Special Programs, Violations). Create and update help files, technical and user documentation (user guides). Collaborate with PMO, and operations team during design, development, testing and deployment phases of the projects. The documentation should be written in a clear and concise manner enabling management, PMO and non-technical staff members to understand complex technical concepts.



MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• At least 4 Years of experience writing a variety of help files, technical and user documentation such as, reports, and/or manuals for a wide range of technical and/or non-technical users.
• At least 4+ years' experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams- programmers, PMO, Business Operations etc.to gain an understanding of the processes and software solution needed to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
• At least 4+ Years of experience of documenting applications similar in size and scope to the types of applications designed by a large government entity such as the New York City Department of Education.
• At least 4+ Years of experience of data modelling (conceptual, logical and Physical) for enterprise applications similar in size and scope to the types of applications used by a large government entity such as the New York City Department of Education.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and an understanding of programming concepts, operating systems and/or networking. May provide guidance to other Technical Writers/Documenters
• Bachelor Degree

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Imaging Software (Snagit, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro) for screen capturing

2+ years of experience working with public sector preferable.
