Responsibility / Job Description:
THIS IS FOR A PART/FULL TIME WAREHOUSE POSITION DEPENDENT ON WORKLOAD - WORKING HOURS WILL BE : 9:00am - 5:30PM
  • TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED - 40 HRS UPON START AND AS CLIENTESSARY
  • WORK HOURS AFTER TRAINING WILL BE DEPENDENT ON BUSINESS NEEDS (VARIESBETWEEN 24 - 40 HOURS PER WEEK)
  • THE GOAL IS TO WORK 40 HOURS WEEKLY BUT MAY REDUCE IF WORKLOAD REDUCES TO 24 HOURS WEEKLY.
Safety Requirements:
CLIENT will provide gloves and hand sanitizer for the workers in this role. Mask are always required to be worn during work hours and workers are responsible for providing their own mask (unless agency will provide).

Responsible for customer returns, verifying and inspecting right parts and processing. This position is responsible for performing Material Receiving Authorization inspection in a fast paced environment, and to achieve timeline milestones. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision on tasks related to receiving, unloading, unpacking, verifying and processing of customer returned material to be processed into system, as well as purchase order processing assuring accuracy and integrity of parts. Transports material to appropriate location for either processing or storage, in compliance with the established CLIENT guidelines. Identifies and reports detailed MRA problems via email, or potential MRA problems to appropriate groups, which may include Quality management, Program Center, Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, as well as MRA management.
Reliability and ability to follow through with the given direction is a must. Must be a team player and assist as needed in all aspects of the operation.
 
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
  • Receive, inspect and process customer returned material or other defective material moved in to the Await Repair location by other groups, or CLIENT Corporation.
  • Unpacks items, using small hand tools as required.
  • Verifies the accuracy of the returned material according to the approved Returned Material Authorization in accordance with CLIENT documentation and part specification.
  • Processes material as required to assure compliance to CLIENT, FTZ, as well as CTPAT requirements.
  • Enters receiving, inspection, and shipping tracking data into computerized inventory system, or otherwise records activities.
  • Processes and verifies purchase orders and coordinates pulling/staging.
  • Retrieves data from computer as required to assist with MRA processing.
  • Maintains files and the retention of all receiving/shipping documentation to meet CLIENT and FTZ requirements Operates a pallet jack, or other material handling equipment to facilitate material movement within the MRA department or in to stock.
  • Delivers items to appropriate location according to transaction record and stocks.
  • Unpacks/lifts materials weighing up to 35 pounds for processing to repair suppliers or storage.
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves/reports MRA issues with Customer Service groups, as well as MRA Management.
  • Assist in verification of MRA inventories including "to be scrapped items.
  • Detects inventory discrepancies during inventory cycle counts, and parts issuance; investigates cause by examining transaction register and notifies the Group Lead or Manager.
  • Provides assistance to less experienced departmental staff as needed or as assigned.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. No forklift involved in this role Minor lifting up to 35 lbs. 1 person lift; if more, 2 person lift
Desired Skills:
  • Computer skills is a plus SAP knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. Will provide training.
