Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Develop diagnostics framework embedded environment to support storage components and systems.
  • You will be working with cross functional hardware and software teams to design, develop and validate the solution and integrate with CIMC.
  • You will be designing, coding and debugging Storage HBA / HDD / SSD diagnostics software in C, Python and Bash programming environments.
  • You will be using the resources available on Cisco’s Server Board Management Controller (BMC) (Linux, I2C, CIMC, HBA, etc.) to perform storage device diagnostics with minimal impact on the server. As output validate POC and final deliverables CIMC HDD diagnostics. You will provide regular status updates.
    Working knowledge of SAS/SATA.
  • Expert in SCSI, Linux storage device drivers.
  • Experience developing storage software using HBA(s) from multiple suppliers (Broadcom/LSI/Avago, Marvel, MicroChip/Microsemi, etc.) or equivalent.
